Since the end of 2022, Ukraine has been experiencing recurring power outages, but back then, my family wasn't yet so concerned with alternative energy sources. Since the beginning of 2024, it has become clear that the use of batteries is not a desire, but a necessity.

So I began studying the battery systems market and understanding their types and purposes.

I chose REDODO iron phosphate battery systems as the best option for accumulating, storing, and converting electricity.

I stumbled upon the REDODO store by chance after conducting a search on the internet. I liked the website's bright advertising, modern design, clear text, and accessible information.

When I interacted with the store, I found that the company offers quality products, provides a warranty and service, and, most importantly, ships REDODO products to Ukraine.

When selecting a battery, I considered the following characteristics: the number of ampere-hours, the voltage, the number of full charge cycles, the depth of discharge, and the temperature conditions during use, which is why I chose the Redodo 12V 100Ah Deep Cycle LiFePO4.

This battery has several advantages over lead-acid batteries:

1) Depth of discharge - Iron phosphate batteries effectively utilize their full capacity, whereas lead-acid batteries cannot be discharged below 50% and fail if completely discharged.

2) Weight - Iron phosphate batteries are three times lighter than lead-acid batteries, which is a definite advantage when transporting them.

3) Dimensions - Lead-acid batteries are twice the size of LiFePO4 batteries, resulting in significant space savings when stored.

4) Safety - Acid batteries can only be charged outdoors because they release dangerous hydrogen gas, so their use indoors is strictly prohibited. This cannot be said for LiFePO4 batteries – they are completely safe in this regard.

I use the Redodo 12V 100Ah Deep Cycle LiFePO4 battery to generate 220V electricity for home use with the help of an inverter. The total battery capacity is 100 ampere-hours or 1.2 kW, which provides the apartment with light and power for electrical appliances (in my case) for 6-8 hours, provided there is no city power source.

The battery manufacturer REDODO states that the number of full charge cycles is more than 4,000, which is a very good indicator.

I am completely satisfied with the purchase.

Now I will always have a ray of hope from REDODO during power outages.
