Redodo's Mini Batteries Win Over Users Across the Board

Replaced 4 6V lead acid batteries in my boat (total approx 2.8 useable KWH, 285 lbs, plus remote watering system) with 3 Redodo 100A "Minis" - total weight about 57 lbs, total useable storage 3.9 KWH, and no more watering. The previous space will now accommodate three additional batteries (see illustration) for a total of nearly 8 KWH should I choose to do so.

A:

Yes, Redodo 12V 100Ah Mini battery can be connected in 4S4P. That will be a 48V 400Ah system. But please balance the battery voltage before connecting.

Q: How are the Redodo 12v100Ah mini batteries made smaller and lighter? ls there any loss of function with the smaller battery?

A:

Redodo 12V100Ah Mini battery is identical to the 12V100Ah base model in terms of performance. It is just different in size and weight. Redodo 12V 100Ah mini batteries have soft-packed cells as well as stacked placement for a more compact space.

Q: Does Redodo 12V100Ah mini battery have low-temperature charging cutoff protection?

A:

Redodo 12V100Ah Mini batteries do not have low-temperature protection.
However, our batteries can be used below 32℉ (they can be discharged normally), but we do not recommend charging them below 32℉.

This is the recommended operating temperature range for our 12V50Ah Pro batteries: Charging: 32℉ to 122℉; Discharging: -4℉ to 140℉.
Many of our customers live in cold regions and like to use our batteries because they discharge well and their consumers can operate at low temperatures. When they need to recharge their batteries, they bring them indoors (at temperatures above 32℉).

Q: I'm looking for a 36v battery bank for my trolling motor. ls the mini type a good option?

A:

Yes, you can connect 3* Redodo 12V 100Ah Mini battery in series. This system is capable of supporting a 36V trolling motors with 100lbs-120lbs of thrust.

Q: Can l mount Redodo 12v 100Ah mini battery on its back or side to fit inside the compartment? wil it leak at all or will water cause a factor?

For Redodo 12V100Ah mini battery, you can install it in any orientation. Our batteries are waterproof with an ip65 rating, which prevents splashing water from damaging the battery.
